Swissgas

IFBC was mandated to develop a cost of capital framework for the Swiss natural gas high-pressure grid operators taking financial market theory and best practice into account and to determine the adequate cost of capital. Furthermore, IFBC supported Swissgas in the successful negotiations with the Swiss price supervisor to determine the grid usage charge. Swissgas is a Swiss trading and transmission company for natural gas. Swissgas procures and transmits natural gas on a non-profit basis for the regional distribution companies Erdgas Ostschweiz, Gasverbund Mittelland, Gaznat and Erdgas Zentralschweiz.
