Nicolas Matzinger

Nicolas holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance (MBF) and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. He has enriched his academic journey with semesters in the United States at both San Diego State University and Pepperdine University. Following his master's degree, he gained multiple years of international M&A experience in Frankfurt, advising on complex transactions across diverse markets. Nicolas began his career at a global bank in Zurich, where he worked across various departments as part of a rotational program. Throughout his studies, he also held roles in Sales and Trading as well as private markets, building a well-rounded skill set. Since April 2026, Nicolas has been working as an Advisor at IFBC and supports clients in the areas of Corporate Finance and M&A Advisory.
