Exclusive Financial Advisor to naturenergie on the acquisition of Swiss solar company Solan
On 10 October 2025, naturenergie holding AG (naturenergie) announced the acquisition of Solan GmbH (Solan). With this transaction, naturenergie – respectively its subsidiary tritec AG (tritec), into which Solan will be integrated – is specifically strengthening its market position and laying the foundation for sustainable growth in a challenging economic environment. At the same time, the Zurich region opens up new opportunities for tritec, as the company has had little presence there to date. The acquisition is an important step in the long-term strategy of the naturenergie group.
Silvio Gely, member of the tritec management board: “We are delighted that Solan will be part of tritec and the naturenergie group in the future. Together, we are moving forward stronger than ever, combining our expertise, creating continuity and new perspectives – for our customers, partners and employees.”
This integration offers many opportunities for Solan's employees, to whom the company owes its success. Silvio Gely and Thomas Gafner will take over the management of Solan.
IFBC acted as Exclusive Financial Advisor to the naturenergie group in the acquisition of Solan. The support provided as part of the Buy-Side M&A Advisory included identifying the target company, carrying out valuation considerations, financial due diligence, and assisting with contract negotiations.
